Bro. Ron Jones

Bro. Ron Jones, age 79, of Alpha, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was the son of the late James and Pansy Jones. He was also preceded in death by 3 children, Clinton Jones, Mark Jones, and April Quillen.

He is survived by his wife, Reba Jones; 2 daughters, Angie (Chuck) McFall and Amy (Jason) Marcum; 7 grandchildren, Jon Quillen, Kelsay Hancock, Abigail Marcum, Ryan Marcum, Tanner McFall, Madelynn Davis, and Gracie McFall; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kira Quillen and Kaylee Quillen.

It is with deep respect and profound sadness that we remember a devoted member of Stony Point Baptist Church, who dedicated much of his life to serving his community. After a faithful ministry spanning several decades, he retired as a pastor in 2012, having lovingly guided six churches since 1988. His commitment to his faith and the countless lives he touched will always be cherished. His legacy of service and devotion will continue to inspire those who knew him.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Vietnam War.

Burial will be in Memorial Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
