Carolyn Faye Scott, age 87, of Cookeville, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on November 9, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born to the late Arthur and Bernice Harston. She shared a loving marriage with the late Lowell Douglas Scott, whom she married on September 10, 1954.

Carolyn is survived by her two children, Belinda (Donny) Thomas and Douglas Scott (Linda York), along with four cherished grandchildren: Joshua Thomas (Shelley), Megan Mayberry (Lane), Tanya Upchurch (Chester), and Courtney Hatfield (Jon). She also leaves behind two siblings, Carolyn Rhea Weaver (James) and Albert Harston (Elsie), as well as 11 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Jessica Barrett and the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2025 AT 12:00 PM AT TALBOTT FUNERAL HOME. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2025 AT 10:00 AM UNTIL TIME OF THE SERVICE AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

Burial will be in Albany Cemetery.
