Danny "Nunnie" Brown

Danny "Nunnie" Brown, aged 78, of Albany, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, September 4, 2026. He was born on June 17, 1948 to the late Clayton and Geneva Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved grandchild, Dannah Dalton.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Janice Brown whom he celebrated a devoted marriage since July 5, 1974. He leaves behind two daughters, Lorie (Anthony) Dalton and Amy (Jeff) Kinnard, who were the pride of his life. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Danielle (Ethan) Smith, Bailey (Jamison) Summers, Haley Kinnard, Chase Gibson, and Dannon Dalton, as well as his great-grandchildren, J. Iverson Summers and Quincy Chase Summers. His brothers, Larry (Mary) Brown and Benny (Carolyn) Brown, also survive him.

Danny found joy in farming and caring for his cows. He spent many years owning and operating Brown's Nursery and Carpet. His connection to the land was matched by his love for his family and his Kubota tractor, a symbol of his hardworking spirit. His deep affection for his daughters and grandchildren was evident in every aspect of his life.

May his memory continue to inspire and comfort all those who knew and loved him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
