Donna Lavone Pennycuff

Donna Lavone Pennycuff, 70, of Monticello, died Friday, November 14, 2025, at UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

A native of Albany, she was born June 25, 1955, to the late Dennis Elmer and Lillie Tilda Claywell Pennycuff.

Donna spent much of her life providing care and companionship to elderly individuals who became like family to her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and neighbors, especially from Horizons, and never turned down a chance to play BINGO or a Pepsi. She was a loving mother, Nana, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Lynn Pennycuff Ehlschide (Matt); four beloved grandsons, Erick Alexander; Chase Riley; Charles Matthew (Peyton), and Samuel Clay; two great-grandchildren, Nolan Riley and another baby boy on the way; and nieces and nephews, Amy, Todd, Melissa, Stewart, Lisa, JoAnn, Jerry Ralph, Susan, Anne, and Gale.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her grandmother, Susie Claywell; siblings, Dean Fosnight, Junior Pennycuff, Eva Riley, Billy Pennycuff, Harold Pennycuff, Kenneth Pennycuff, and Jimmy Pennycuff; and niece Debra Riley.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Central Time, Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Talbott Funeral Home in Albany with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM Central Time on Wednesday. Todd Pennycuff will officiate the service. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.
