Evelena Jones Burchett

Evelena Jones Burchett, 87, of Albany, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026. Evelena was born on May 27, 1939 to the late Wendell and Deeina Jones and was cherished by her family, including her late brothers, Cecil and Russell Jones.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 65 years, Fred Burchett, and her son, Ted Burchett, and his wife Brenda. Evelena's cherished family also includes her sister, Linda Brown, and brother-in-law Leon; six beloved grandchildren, Tessa Keltner and her husband Jason, Whitney Brown, Cory Summers and his fiancé Casey, Cody Summers and his wife Jamie, Chase Singer, and Dakota Singer; along with seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Charlotte Mitchell.

Evelena had a profound fondness for her pet bird, Willie, bringing joy and companionship into her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
