Gayron D. "Waldo" Wallen

Gayron D. "Waldo" Wallen, age 90, of Albany passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was the son of the late Otha Wallen and Isabelle Campbell. He was the husband of the late Lola Joann (Talbott) Wallen. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Peggy Shives and John Wallen, 1 grandchild, Lukas Wallen, and his son-in-law, David Hutchison.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Peggy (Frankie) Sewell and Phyllis Hutchison; and 1 son, Tony (Connie) Wallen. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

For the past 60 years, he applied his skills in construction and masonry work, contributing to the Albany community with commitment to his trade and to serving others.

Burial will be in Peolia Cemetery with Military Honors.

The funeral home will be open at 7:00 AM Tuesday for those who would like to visit before work.
