Geneva L. Marcum Childers

Geneva L. Marcum Childers, age 79, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Eva (Burris) Marcum. She was also preceded in death by 8 siblings, Bonnie Hatfield, Gwen Marcum, Barbara Johnson, Joann Verdung, Shirley Shelton, Wendell Marcum, Glyn Marcum, and Jim Marcum.

She is survived by her husband, Jakie Childers; 1 son, Jake (Katherine) Childers; 1 daughter, Kathy (Patrick) McCurdy; 2 brothers, Richard (Becky) Marcum and Larry Marcum; and 5 grandchildren, Jillian McCurdy, Matthew McCurdy, Joshua Childers, Jacob Childers, and Joseph Childers. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Davis Chapel Cemetery.
