Herbert Lee Irwin

Herbert Lee Irwin, age 87, of Albany, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Born on September 4, 1937 to the late Cameron and Golda Irwin, Herbert lived a life filled with love and dedication. He was the cherished husband of the late Donna B. Irwin, whom he married on May 17, 1968.

Herbert was preceded in death by three sisters, Reba Stoddard, Ovaline Poore, and Mary Ruth Orton, as well as three brothers, Raymond Irwin, Shelby Irwin, and Billy Irwin. Despite these losses, his legacy continues through his loving family.

He is survived by two sons, Victor (Ronnie) Irwin and Phillip (Joyce) Irwin; one brother, Tommy Irwin; one grandchild, Butch (Hailey) Irwin; and two great-grandchildren, Heidi Jane Irwin and Lucy Ann Irwin whom he loved dearly.

A dedicated farmer, Herbert brought a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the land into his life. His contributions to both his family and community will be dearly remembered. Herbert's kind spirit and commitment to his loved ones serve as a lasting testament to his character and the life he led.

Burial will be in Brumley Cemetery.
