J O Dicken

J O Dicken, age 93, of Albany passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was the son of the late John Omer and Julia Mae Dicken. He was the husband of the late Christine Dicken. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Irene Greer, Ira Lee Dicken, and Billy Dicken.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Delora (David) Reeves and Martha (the late John) Harlan; 4 grandchildren, Angie (Dan) Hedgespeth, April (Cannon) Armstrong, Brent (Cortney) Reeves, and Derek (Erika) Harlan; and 13 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ivy, Maggie, Gavin, Amelia, Bella, Samuel, Aubree, Abel, Camille, Marley, D.J., and Gaige. He is also survived by his caregivers, Shelia, Lorrie, Gena, Donna, Cindy, and Tessa. 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Albany First Baptist Church, Trooper Island, or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
