James E. Brown

James E. Brown, age 85, of Albany entered into rest on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. He was the son of the late Edward Lee and Valeria Ellen Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, the late Jean Brown. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, John Ridley and Emma Hicks Thrasher; and 1 sister, Arlene (Bee) Crouch.

He is survived by 1 son, Bro. Jeff (Martina) Brown; 1 brother, Horace (Martha) Brown; 3 grandchildren, Edward Clark (Katy) Brown, John Brown, and Bess (Sandy) Brown; 3 great-grandchildren, Connor James Brown, Rowan Jefferey Brown, and Caleb R. Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with his dear friend, Ernie Owens and family.

Burial will be in Peolia Cemetery.
