Jerry Warinner Branham, 83, of Albany died Monday, August 31, 2026 at his home in the Central Grove community of Clinton County.
Jerry was born February 22, 1943, in the Fairland community of Clinton County. He attended Central Union Elementary School and graduated from Clinton County High School. He graduated from Campbellsville College with a BS degree, and Western Kentucky University with a Masters degree and Rank I certification. He was a dedicated educator all of his professional career. He began his teaching career in a one-room school in Wayne County. He then taught in Barren County. He returned to Clinton County to teach 7th grade science. He became principal at Clinton County Elementary and then moved to principal at Clinton County Middle School. He retired in May 1999 to become a full time farmer.
Jerry was the son of the late James Aaron and Gertrude Branham. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: James Branham, Donald Branham, Billy Branham, Herbert Branham, David Branham, Samuel Branham, and Terry Branham.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Alice Branham whom he wed on August 14, 1966. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2026 FROM 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM AT TALBOTT FUNERAL HOME. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2026 AFTER 9:00 AM UNTIL TIME OF THE SERVICE AT CENTRAL GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH. FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2026 AT 11:00 AM AT CENTRAL GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH.
Burial will be in Central Grove Cemetery.
