Joan Gay Pitman

Joan Gay Pitman, age 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Obie and Bonnie Miller. She was the wife of the late Larry Pitman. She was also preceded in death by 3 siblings, Bill Miller, June Upchurch, and Linda Bussa Barger.

She is survived by 2 children, Larry Todd Pitman and Tabitha Ann Pitman; 1 sister, Geneva Thomas; 3 grandchildren, Bailey Razor, Collin Pitman, and Allisia Burkhead (Cody); and 2 great-grandchildren, Mason Hensley and Nova Burkhead. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Shively Christian Church.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
