John "Jay" Franklin Farmer, age 91, of Albany passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was born on May 4, 1934 to the late Frank and Eula Farmer. He was the husband of the late Ida Mae Farmer. He was also preceded in death by 4 siblings, Charlie Farmer, Vita Melton, Jemima Ferguson, and Glenda Watkins.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Cordell) Collins; 1 sister, Betty Cole; and 2 step-grandchildren, Steve Collins and Frankie Collins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
