Lucille "Peggy" Armstrong

Lucille "Peggy" Armstrong, 89, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away December 26, 2022 at the Clinton County Hospital.

She was born in the Duvall Valley Community of Clinton County, Ky. the daughter of Clarence and Minnie Rains. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Armstrong; an infant son, Christopher Todd Armstrong; a grandson, Eric Cravens; a sister, Polly Stonecipher; and two brothers, Glen Rains and John Rains.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Benny) Brown and Anita (Richard) Hay; her grandchildren, Sherri (Michael) Miller, Sarah (Matthew) Knight, Jordan (Makensie) Hay, Cyndi Brown and Kimberly (Robert) Walker.

She is survived by great-grandchildren Zachary Miller and Matthew Miller. Bryce Cravens and Emily Cravens, Madeleine Knight and Max Knight, Zachary (Taylor) Sawyers and Ethan (Kelsie) Sawyers, and Madison (Hunter) Poston and Ben Walker.

She had several nieces and nephews, and a special sister-in-law, Virginia Coffey
