Marvin Oliver Upchurch

Marvin Upchurch, age 78, of Monticello passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was the son of the late Stanley and Ellen Upchurch. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Steve Upchurch and 5 half-sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Upchurch; 1 son, Marvin Allan (Chung) Upchurch; 1 sister, Ruth (Vernon) Wooldridge; 2 grandchildren, Zachary (Laura) Upchurch and Masyn Upchurch; and 2 great-grandchildren, Lillie Upchurch and Conner Upchurch. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Burial will be in Memorial Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
