Mary Louise Key Pennycuff, aged 84, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Mary was born on June 13, 1941 to the late Travis and Bertha (Cravens) Key. Mary was a cherished individual who leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Thomas Pennycuff whom she wed in 1960. She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Ruby Jean Martin, Ernest Key, Butch Key, and Janet Craft, as well as her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Cravens.
Mary is survived by her three children: Tammy (Rick) Parrish, Tonya (Gary) Brown, and John (Melissa) Pennycuff. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Seth (Kelsie) Parrish, Silas (Brittany) Brown, Sean (Nikki) Parrish, Jessie (Steven) Stone, Will (Alice) Parrish, Elijah (Victoria) Brown, and Addison Routh. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Kathy Chesher, and 14 wonderful great-grandchildren, Bentley Brown, Charli Parrish, Gage Stone, Weston Brown, Hadley Parrish, Crew Parrish, Knox Parrish, Willow Stone, Saylor Brown, Lakyn Brown, Deacon Parrish, Theodore Brown, Kash Parrish, and Riggs Parrish; and her precious dog, Bella.
A deeply devoted family member, Mary found joy in watching sports and watching her grandchildren excel in sports and cherished the moments spent with her loved ones. An avid reader, she dedicated much of her time to her passion for reading. Mary was also a valued member of Westview Christian Church and was a member in the Foothills Community for many years.
Mary Louise Key Pennycuff will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit, leaving an enduring impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
