Nilda Sue "Nannie Sue" Irwin

Nilda Sue Irwin "Nannie Sue", age 92, of Albany passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Georgia Melton. She was the wife of the late Wendell Irwin. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Lana Irwin and 1 son, Charles Irwin. She was also preceded in death by 8 siblings, Doris Stearns, Jean Brown, Janice Hacker, William Melton, Tommy Melton, Howard Melton, Ronnie Melton, and Lonnie Kay Melton.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren, Chad (Sue) Irwin, Brad (Sheila) Irwin, David (Tammy) Irwin, and Nick (Jessica) Irwin and 1 daughter-in-law, Ina Joan Irwin. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.
