Norbert Henry Sohm, Jr.

Norbert Henry Sohm, Jr., aged 78, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Norbert Sohm, Sr. and Matilda Sohm.

Norbert is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Lisa Sohm, whom he married on September 13, 1985. He was a cherished father to his two children, Chloe (Will) Rush and Jase Sohm, and a proud grandfather to Harper Rush and Birdie Rush. He also leaves behind his 2 siblings, Judy Blair and Nicki (Greg) Mills.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Norbert dedicated part of his life to serving his country. Following his service in the military, he practiced as an attorney in Albany, Kentucky, contributing significantly to his community.

Norbert’s life was marked by dedication, love, and service, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026 AT 11:00 AM AT TALBOTT FUNERAL HOME. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2026 FROM 5:00 - 8:00 PM AT TALBOTT FUNERAL HOME.
