Paula Jane Thacker

Paula Jane Thacker, age 74, of Albany, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026. Born on November 20, 1951 to Wynema (Cooper) Money and the late Paul Davis, Paula lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Neil Thacker, whom she married on May 28, 1968; her mother, Wynema (Cooper) Money; her three children, Crystal Thacker, Flinton (Rachael) Thacker, and Lucas (Gina) Thacker; as well as her five cherished grandchildren, Aleigha Nelson, Amber Simpson, Crista Thacker, Easton Thacker, and Lakeen Thacker. Paula also leaves behind her three siblings, Brenda (Rick) Ordway, Jackie Davis, and Bubby (Shannon) Corder.

Paula found great joy in being a homemaker, nurturing and caring for her family, and sharing her love through cooking. Her warmth and care will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She took great joy in teaching her granddaughters valuable life skills, whether it be through cooking, canning, or gardening. These moments she shared with them created cherished memories that will be treasured by her granddaughters.

Burial will be in Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
