Richard Hugh Cowan, age 72, of Albany passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. He was the son of the late Marvin and Mattie Cowan. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Billy Cowan.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Taylor of Albany, Kentucky and Wilma Upchurch of Monticello, Kentucky; 2 nephews, Seth (Chelsea) Cowan and Brandon (Misty) Upchurch; 2 great-nephews, Dawson Upchurch and Alex Brown; 3 uncles, Frank Beaty, Cooper (Lucille) Beaty, and Ed (Linda) Beaty; and 1 aunt: Wilma Beaty. He is also survived by several cousins.
Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
