Roger Allen Boils

Roger Allen Boils, age 82, of Albany, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026. He was born on June 2, 1944 to the late Burley Bledsoe and Mary Edith Boils. Roger was a beloved husband to the late Phyllis Ann Boils. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Lillian Walena Boils Melton, Ellis Ray Boils, Cletis Boils, William "Fuzz" Boils, Cliff Boils, Bob Boils, Frankie Boils, Ralph Boils, Mary Elizabeth Boils, and Reba Boils Melton.

Roger is lovingly remembered by his 5 children: Allen (Shirley) Boils, Troy Boils, Sis Boils (Paul) Holdiness, Jenny Boils, and Katie (Josh) Thrasher; his 8 grandchildren: Garrett and Ivy Moon, Zoe and Ian Holdiness, Dalton Poore, Mia Thrasher, Josh Asberry, and Dakota Boils, as well as seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Sue (Gary Don) Fletcher and Helen Thacker, and special caregiver, Candice Carter.

Known for his passion for working, he cherished hard work most of all. He also enjoyed repairing everybody's lawnmowers and found joy in fishing. His warm spirit and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Five Springs Cemetery in memory of Roger Boils.

Burial will be in Five Springs Cemetery.
