Ronnie Gene Bowlin was a cherished community member and a beloved husband. Known for his affable nature, Ronnie never met a stranger. He was universally loved and respected in the community and valued for his warm heart and generous spirit; he left a legacy of love, kindness, and service behind him.
Ronnie began working as a dedicated farmhand to his uncle Melvin from an early age. He worked alongside his uncle until he graduated from Clinton County High School in 1974. These years were formative and helped instill work ethic and dedication to community and family service. Ronnie carried these traits with him throughout his life.
Shortly after graduation, Ronnie started working as a machine operator at Sutton Shirt Corporation, a position he held until the company's closure in 1992. During these years, Ronnie married his lifelong love, Angela Riddle, on March 24, 1979. Their union was full of love and companionship. Angela will deeply miss and cherish the memories she shared with Ronnie, the love of her life.
After Sutton's closed, Ronnie joined OshKosh B'Gosh, working until its closure in 2001. Continuing his career, he then participated in a two-year workforce development program. Since 2005, Ronnie has been a Property Manager for RC Real Estate, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to personal growth.
During his time at RC Real Estate, he had a close-knit group of friends who would meet every morning and share daily fellowship, reinforcing the bonds of community and friendship. Ronnie's altruism shone through his volunteer work at the Days of Grace Food Pantry, where he devoted nearly a decade of service. His joy was evident in his commitment to ensuring the happiness and well-being of others. Ronnie was also a devoted supporter of the Foothills Festival since 2015, initially working behind the scenes in videography and photography before joining as a committee member.
Our hearts are heavy with his loss. Ronnie's kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched many lives. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will never be forgotten. We mourn his passing, but we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived.
