Clarence Steve Riddle, aged 84, of Albany, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Charlie and Bernice Riddle, and he was preceded in death by his sister, Beulah Riddle, and his brother, Hulen Riddle.
Steve was a devoted member of the Highway Church of the Nazarene, where he found great joy in his faith and community. His love for the Lord was matched only by his passion for music, as he sang in gospel quartets for many years, sharing his talents with those around him.
Steve dedicated many years as a distributor for Gordon Potato Chips. Alongside his wife, Betty, they owned and operated Riddle's Gas and Auto Service until their well-deserved retirement.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 62 years, Betty Honeycutt Riddle; his daughter, Mona (Scott) Cooksey of Campbellsville, Kentucky; his son, Michael (Tonya) Riddle; and his sister, Zelma Greegor of Louisville, Kentucky. Steve is also survived by two grandchildren, Aiden Cooksey and Trevor (Kayla) Riddle, as well as two great-grandchildren, Kain Riddle and Peyton Riddle.
Burial will be in Peolia Cemetery.
