Tessa Marie (Brown) Choate

Tessa Marie (Brown) Choate, aged 60, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Bill Brown (Dorothy) and the late Carleen Brown, and was preceded in death by her cherished brother, Billy "Bobtail" Brown.

Tessa is lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Allen Choate. She is survived by her father, Bill (Dorothy) Brown; her two children, Haley (Joe) Marcum and Josh (Sheena) Choate; her two sisters, Pam (Jackie) Elmore and Lisa Chandler; and her six grandchildren: Elizabeth, Brayden, Carsyn, Tilly, Tucker, and Kayleigh. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will carry on her memory.

Tessa's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 FROM 5:00 - 8:00 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME, AND AGAIN SUNDAY STARTING AT 6:30 AM UNTIL 12:30 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME. THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 AT 1:00 PM AT LEE'S CHAPEL CHURCH.

Burial will be in Davis Chapel Cemetery.
