Walter "Steve" Stearns, age 76, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023.
He was the son of the late Walter Coleman and Thelma Mae Stearns.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stan Stearns.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Stearns,
his daughter, Melissa McLenon,
his son, Steve Stearns JR. (Stacy),
two sisters, Carolyn Luttrell and Phyllis Hay,
two grandchildren, Cody Stearns and Steve Michael Stearns,
and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Stearns and Jacklyn Stearns.
Burial will be in Aaron's Chapel Cemetery with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aaron's Chapel Church or the cemetery fund.
