He was the son of the late William Richard "Bill" Tallent. Survivors include his wife, Serina Holley Tallent, his mother, Jean Bullard Tallent, 1 daughter, Jessica (Kenneth)Gibson, 1 son, Gary Lee Tallent, 1 sister, Hazel (Bobby) Russell, and 1 brother, Johnny Richard Tallent. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Kenneth Lee Gibson, and Michael Gibson.
